Research for systems that have to work at height.

A distinctive tall-building environment for product development, engineering research, controlled testing and technical demonstration.

Tall-building engineering

More height. More meaningful evidence.

Some products and systems only reveal their behaviour when they are installed at meaningful height. The National Lift Tower gives project teams access to a 127.5-metre vertical structure with four lift shafts and specialist access systems in Northampton.

We work with manufacturers, consultants, researchers and technical teams to explore whether the facility can support a focused development, testing, training or demonstration programme.
